My wife blessed my life in so many ways. Her love and understanding carried me through the times I viewed as difficult. The gift of our five daughters bring light and life to every moment. Her faith in God helped me find my own misplaced faith. Her smile and kiss upon my arrival home made it almost bearable to leave for work the next day. As the mother of her daughters, she inspired so many, including me, with her patience and compassion.
'Love at First Sight' is a concept that I had not believed, until I met her. Not only did I fall in love with Lis upon first seeing her, I also felt as though I had known her forever. 'Kindred Spirits' are those that hold a bond of beliefs, morals and outlooks. This was the relationship that God allowed me to have with Lis.
Lis' smile will no doubt be one of the greatest memories of her for all of us. With
very few exceptions, we could all count on that smile and friendly 'Hello'. Her bouncing spirit and beauty gave us all a glimmer of the 'Good Day' that we could all have if we allowed ourselves.
