'Matty' (Pocos Black Bourbon) is our 94% foundation yearling line-back filly. She will be a great addition to our breeding program.
'Cody' (Poco Tactix) is an 89% foundation bred 5 year old. She shows her lineage in her sharp sliding stops and calm attentive disposition.
'Ginger' (Miss Pokie Blackburn) is 90% foundation bred, with Blackburn strongly showing on her lineage. At 6, she will give us many years of fine foals like her daughter, "Matty."
We select our mares with an eye towards the future. We combine the attributes of the stout, 'bulldog' working cow horse of the past - with the conformation that will hold up to the demanding reining and show arena - and then we look for mares that will deliver foals that meet our goal of grullas and duns. We are just starting out, but we think you'll agree that these mares are everything a person wants in a foundation quarterhorse broodmare.
